Dermapen is equipped with a sterile, single-use head containing from 12 to 36 microneedles. Depending on the head model chosen and the desired depth of action (0.25 to 3 mm), treatment can be painless or slightly uncomfortable, in which case an anesthetic cream can be applied. The treatment is much more comfortable than techniques using micro-needling rollers, and the gesture is rapid.
Sessions are spaced 2 to 6 weeks apart, depending on the indication. Unlike laser or peel treatments, no social eviction is necessary, since only slight redness is visible after a session.
The first beneficial effects are visible very quickly, and skin structure continues to improve over the following months.
