What is mesotherapy?
Are you losing your hair? Do you feel that your skin is aging? Would you like to reduce your cellulite, all without surgery? Then turn to mesotherapy! Find out more about this painless technique and its various applications from the aesthetic medicine specialists at Clinique du Lac.
Mesotherapy is a medical technique developed in France by Dr Michel Pastor in the early 1950s. Initially used to treat pathologies such as rheumatism, it is now used in aesthetic medicine. Based on micro-injections under the dermis, a mesotherapy session enables precise, local action without surgery. Clinique du Lac invites you to discover this gentle technique for an anti-ageing effect, but also to combat hair loss or reduce the orange peel effect.

Personalized assessment
To determine the most appropriate treatment, an initial consultation is recommended.
The aim is to analyze your needs and draw up a customized treatment plan.
What are the different types of mesotherapy intervention?
The Clinique du Lac offers several formulas:
- Mesotherapy for the face Is your skin looking dull, with wrinkles and fine lines multiplying? Facial mesotherapy is a fabulous anti-aging and anti-wrinkle treatment. It's a less radical rejuvenation solution than cosmetic surgery. Thanks to micro-injections of nutrients, your skin will regain its firmness and hydration.
- Aesthetic mesotherapy Clinique du Lac offers aesthetic mesotherapy sessions. This practice can help you slim down or erase the unsightly effects of cellulite. Mesotherapy for slimming aims to melt fat in targeted areas. In a mesotherapy session for cellulite, injections stimulate the lymphatic system and blood circulation.
- Hair mesotherapy Whether you're a man or a woman, hair loss problems can quickly become a nuisance. Mesotherapy offers excellent results in the fight against alopecia or periodic hair loss.

Originally used for strictly medical purposes, mesotherapy is now used for aesthetic purposes. It aims to revitalize the face, moisturize and fill in fine lines. A mixture of anti-oxidant vitamins, trace elements and hyaluronic acid is applied to the face. In a way, mesotherapy involves placing the active anti-aging ingredients contained in your creams directly into the dermis.
The skin is rehydrated and regains its firmness and radiance. The antioxidant effect of the vitamins is of long-term interest in the prevention of skin ageing if sessions are carried out regularly. Occasionally, small papules and a few hematomas may appear for a short time (2 to 3 days).
